Today’s prompt: Something you made

I’ve always wanted to make bread – something I can make for my family. Wouldn’t it be great to make it on your own? To know the actual ingredients that’s in it? Luckily, I found a fail-safe recipe for Pain de Campagne (French country bread) that’s a total keeper. The recipe is flexible too – you can substitute white bread flour with whole grain and you can add almost anything to the mixture – olives, herbs, dried fruits or nuts.
If you haven’t made your own bread, why not? It’s inexpensive, healthy and tasty.  Give baking your own bread a try.  I bet you’ll find that a freshbaked, totally natural loaf of bread will convert your entire family and you can say goodbye to the long list of unpronounceable ingredients that are found in store bought breads!

I’d love to try out baking bread but I don’t have all the necessary equipment to do so. How much does it cost you to bake this pieace of bread?

Thanks for the ingredients! ^^
