I’ve always loved how cute these wooden shoes look, but can’t help but wonder about their comfort!

Cool shots of the wooden shoes. I like the way they look but wonder what they feel like to wear them.

Those are so cool looking. I’m with the others – I’d love to try a pair on and see how they feel!

I remember seeing wooden shoes like this all over the Netherlands when I visited there! Never tried on a pair, however.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and visiting!

I’ve tried wearing those from Holland before, I could hardly walk without attempting to fall flat on my face
I’ve learned from you that they’re available in The Netherlands as well :) Thanks for sharing

Hi Grace! I too have wondered at how comfortable they are, and I’m also curious to know why the toe curls up like that? Is there a practical function for that?

Great pics for the wooden photohunt! I also have one of those – though mine is so tiny, it wouldn’t even fit on anyone’s small toe LOL!! (Well, maybe a baby’s)

Happy weekend Grace!

A wonderfully traditional item, but why did the Dutch make their shoes of wood? That is something that just came to mind. I never wondered it before. And comfort–my shoes have to be comfortable, so I have ALWAYS wondered about that one.
