Catchy name for a blog, don’t you think?
Hooked on Houses is a blog all about, well, what else but houses. But it’s not what you think – this site is not a real estate site selling houses. This blog beautifully features houses, written so well you’re guaranteed to get hooked.
Julia is a writer and regular magazine and college textbook contributor behind this blog. She started blogging about houses for people who love looking at houses, just like her. There are so many kinds of houses featured on Hooked on Houses, big ones and tiny ones (I find tiny houses charming), old and new, celebrity and movie setting houses.
I guess my favorite of Julia’s posts would be the houses used for movie settings. I got nostalgic when she featured the houses in the movies Sabrina and While You Were Sleeping! Of course who wouldn’t love her feature of the two houses in the movie, The Holiday.
Hooked on Houses hosts a weekly blog carnival called Hooked on Fridays where you can post about things that you’re hooked on. I’ve read some of the participant’s posts and find it very interesting!
And don’t get me started on her Home-a-Rama Tours!
