Zen Habits is a blog that talk about creating habits that support better life. It would be impossible to read productivity blogs and miss the web phenom that is Leo Babauta. He created this blog to feature articles on productivity and organization, finance and family, simplicity, happiness, and health and fitness. The articles are beautifully written and motivating and one simple thing that draws readers to this very popular blog is the uncluttered overall look. If a blog is as clean cut as this, it makes me want to read what it’s all about and I am glad I did. The Zen Habits blog look is a product of Leo’s inclination towards a clutter-free, simple life.
My favorite quote from Leo:
“living life to the fullest” doesn’t require having and doing more. My definition of living life to the fullest means doing things I love doing, spending time with people I love, being passionate, enjoying each and every moment. And this doesn’t require acquisition or doing everything … it requires the desire to focus on what really matters, and not simply on everything that comes our way.
Leo does not only ”preach”, he does the things he say and has since quit smoking, became a runner, ran a marathon, began waking early, became organized, began eating healthy, became a vegan doubled his income, wrote a novel, took control of his finances, lost weight and overall, simplified his life.

These are just 5 of my favorite posts from the Zen Habits blog. Living simply has always been a theme for me and my family. Less clutter means less time spent on cleaning, more time for more productive things.
I could go on and on again praising this blog but to sum up and simplify the reason why I chose the Zen Habits blogs for my Sunday Good Reads? The most useful, interesting, engaging, awesome and inspiring posts I’ve read so far, are all from Zen Habits.
Oh and just one more thing…this is really interesting, I promise. Check out Leo’s policy on copyrights. It’s refreshingly new and I bet you haven’t come across anything like it in the whole blogosphere!
Since its beginning in January 2007, Zen Habits has to date, more than 90,000+ subscribers. Leo also authors the book, Power of Less, The: The Fine Art of Limiting Yourself to the Essential…in Business and in Life. You can find a great interview of Leo in this Life Hacker article.
