13 SIGNS THAT SAYS YOU ARE LIVING IN 2007

1. You accidentally enter your password in the microwave.

2. You haven’t played solitaire with real cards in years.

3. You email the person who works at the desk next to you.

4. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don’t have email addresses.

5. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.

6. Leaving the house without your cell phone which you didn’t have in the first 20 or 30 years of your life, is now a cause of panic and you turn around to go and get it.

7. You get up in the morning and go online before getting your coffee.

8. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.

10. You start tilting your head sideways to smile.

11. You’re reading this and nodding and laughing.

12. You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.

13. You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn’t a #9 on this list!

Goodness you’re early. I’ve got mine ready too, but I’m not posting it until the site goes live.

Great list – so true.

LOL Your added #9 is totally true!

I seriously don’t know how to eat breakfast in the morning if I’m not checking my emails at the same time. I’ve stood in the kitchen eating feeling totally lost I need the mouse in one hand and the piece of toast in the other to really start the day.

He, he, fantastic list once again! #4 is sad, but true in my case. #10 made me spill my coffee, because i was laughing so hard.
And a nice header you chose there. ;o)

Very funny TT. Yes, I nodded and laughed. One of my mental checklists I do before leaving my apt. is that I make sure that my cell phone is in my pocket.

That’s a great list and I chuckled when I read #6! I’ve. Felt. That. PANIC. LOL

18 Darla September 27, 2007 at 3:29 pm

LOL! How about this one–when you’re watching a DVD at home, you keep the IMDB open to answer all those “where have I seen this actor before?” questions. :)

Now is where I tell you I am currently checking my email prior to even getting dressed for the day, right?

Happy TT.

THese are awesome!! No, I missed the fact there wasn’t a number 9. And I had a great laught about the commercials. My daughters like to watch informercials and usually memorize the websites and make me check them out. LOL!

I’m not sure if we should be laughing at our lives… they seem kind of pathetic, you know?

I don’t know about you, but I’m having a darn good time — and I laugh at myself when I panic about the cell phone not being with me. In the unlikely incidence where the school needs me, they gotta be able to get me! (everyone else, forget about it. They can leave voice mail.)

#2 is sooooo me! I got a deck of cards as part of a “get well” basket after I had surgery … in 2003. The deck is still wrapped in cellophane. I play solitaire on my iPod.

Reply

29 Gloria September 27, 2007 at 6:06 pm

Haha, you got me at 12! But I found 9 anyway. :D This is so true. I miss call my man when I’m in the room downstairs and he’s upstairs. My excuse is that i’m too ladylike to be yelling and screaming all the way up. But we all know the laziness issue. Haha. Number 6 is true too. If I leave my phone at home for a day, I’m fidgety the whole day. Goodness, didn’t realize tech has such a hold on us, eh?

The number 9 thing really got me. And, that you knew it would, scares me. I agree with all but the coffee, cause like my rockin partner in crime, Blue Momma, I drink tea.

I’m feeling cheated out of #9 now. You might have gotten away with it too bu then you’d have been down to 10 and I’d probably not have fallen for that %-^

My husband had his wisdom teeth out on Friday, so we communicated by IM although we were in the same room. He types faster than he writes…and it’s legible. Ah, technology.

You know, if you install the CA-Credits plugin, you would not need to use (or upgrade) the Mister Linky thing (as well, you don’t get any credit for those links)… Just a thought. ;)
