I don’t know. As much complaining I do about the ice, it sure makes me appreciate … well, all of it. The days without ice. Summers. Rain.

But it sounds like you don’t need ice to appreciate things like being able to turn off the AC and take a cool shower.

I’m with witchypoo! But I hear you about #5. It’s the one thing I really don’t like about Japanese winters, the huddling around the heater in one room, freezing in the others. No insulation or central heating!!?? Why? Winter in Canada on the other hand, no problem.
