I have a friend who was in Dubai over the summer. She said the display of wealth is incredible.
I’d love to see the country. It sounds like the Sheik who runs it is one smart cookie.
Very interesting but not surprised by the numbers. We did see tons of Indians while visiting. All of them tried to speak to my husband, and poor hubby can get by in Hindi but barely and forget the other Indian Languages

And the fact that they were allowed to move TONS of sand in the gulf and no one was bothered by that. Grace, did they ever talk in the papers about how it affected the gulf (fish etc) by moving all that sand?
