I think the name Jennifer is so common that I have at least 7 friends named Jennifer and I know 3 bloggers named the same.

Did you know that there are so many Jennifer’s in Hollywood?

1. Jennifer Aniston- Don’t know her? I mean, Brad Pitt ex-wife, the Rachel, the tv show Friends?

2. Jennifer Love Hewitt – Star of “I Know what you did last summer”

3. Jennifer Lopez- The singer popularly known as JLo, need I say more?

4. Jennifer Garner- from Alias, married to Ben Affleck (who was previously engaged to another Jennifer, see #3)

5. Jennifer Grey – Dirty Dancing (1987)

6. Jennifer Jason Leigh- Starred in Backdraft, Single White Female

7. Jennifer Connelly- played opposite Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind where she won Best Actress in a Supporting Role, with Leonardo di Caprio in Blood Diamond. I love her in The Rocketeer.

8. Jennifer Hudson- In 2007, won an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the movie Dreamgirls.

9. Jennifer O’neill – famous for her role in Summer of ’42 in 1971 where she plays a widow of a soldier killed in World War II.

10. Jennifer Tilly- played Tiffany in the movie Bride of Chucky

11. Jennifer Jones – won an Oscar for Best Actress for the film The Song of Bernadette in 1943.

12. Jennifer Saunders- a comedienne who played the wicked fairy godmother in Shrek 2. The Eurythmics song “Jennifer” (from the album Sweet Dreams Are Made of This) and “Adrian” (from the album Be Yourself Tonight) are dedicated to her and her husband.

13. Jennifer Esposito- Starred in the movie Crash and the tv show Law & Order

Do you know any Jennifers near you?

When I was in grad school, you were lucky if you picked up your roster for the classes you were TA for and didn’t find at least three Jennifers on it.

I like Jennifer Connelly, she was great in Blood Diamond. Anyway, this post reminded me of an old commercial in Philippines. Remember, “Nawawala si Jennifer!”? hehehe

I went to Uni with a Jenny (who was actually Jennifer) and went to Upper School with Two Jennifers (both were Jenny for short)

There’s also lots of Hannahs! There were three in my uni tutor group including me.

I’ve always known tons of Jennifers. A fair number of Robins too, but not as many as Jennifer.

Funny, my sister would have named #1 son Jennifer if he had been a girl. Instead, he is Michael, another very common name!

I’ve always loved this name. Believe it or not I only have one friend right now named Jennifer and she’s only 25. I don’t know anyone my age named that.

My name is Amy and all through school there were three of us and we were usually in the same class. Made it confusing for the teacher!

I think it’s a name popularity thing. I bet if we looked Jennifer was a popular name in the late 1970s/1980s when these chicks were born.

Funny how little I like most of these Jennifers. It’s not a name I every use in a story.

Look, a prejudice. I’m a Jennifer hater.

Think I should form a group?

Great post on Jennifer’s.
