The Burj Dubai is currently world’s tallest. That building on its right is The Address Hotel, at 306 meters. Dare to compare.

Dude… that looks very unsafe. I’m not a big fan of super tall buildings. I know there are super architectural things to avoid it. but I always think they’re going to tip over!
Happy WW!
I played too!
(But I cheated a little on the wordless part…)
GiGi @ Incrementums last blog post..I’m not here
The building is pretty scary…hehehe. I don’t want to be in there when there’s an earthquake.
Happy WW!

That’s such a great shot that you were able to get the entire thing in a single frame and sky to spare!
That looks frightening!
Happy WW! Check out some different perspectives of things I saw when I was in Manhattan: http://tinyurl.com/kukr72
I suppose I’d go to the top and look out just to do it, but I don’t think I’d want to work there and spend all day up there!

Interesting looking building. I don’t think I’d feel comfortable looking out of a window on one of the top floors — it’s an awfully long way to the bottom! And who in his right mind would take a job cleaning the windows on that building?
Happy WW to you!

NOT ME!!

How far away did you have to stand? lol. That is CRRRAZY tall!
I was inside our car (hubby was driving) when I took that photo…as for the distance, I guess I was quite far.

WOW….although I am not scared of heights, I am not sure I would want to be on the top of that building. That is scary tall!
I am scared of heights but for the sake of my cat-like curiousity and for the blog, I will go up when it’s finished and take photos and LIVE to tell the story.
Jackis last blog post..If you like horses, this post is for you.
wow! I read it stands 818 Meters or 2,684 ft tall. That is scary tall! Are you able to go up and take pictures from it? Would love to see that!
We are so looking forward to the opening of the open (?) observatory deck! I’m going to take LOTS of photos but will backpack a parachute, just in case.
About the height, they have not disclosed the final, official height until the opening day.
I love drive by shots
Happy WW!

How crazy! I would never ever want to be towards the top of that one!
Do they have an actual height listed for it yet?
Oh, and you’ve GOT to come see my WW post!
I think it is listed at 818 meters but not sure. We’ll only know on the opening day.

There is noooooooooooo way that I would go up to the top of this building. I’d be terrified!
Neas Nuttinesss last blog post..Kiva Giveaway!
That would be an awesome place to sky-dive from hahahahaha
Very good point! We don’t have mountains in Dubai so this is the better alternative.
OMG! do you think you will ever have the opportunity to go to the top? would you want to?.
I had the opportunity to go to the top of the Petronas towers in Kuala Lumpur but passed…..no way not me.
Yes. There will be an observation floor for those who are curious how Dubai looks like from the sky.
Yes, I will go.

Don’t think I’d like being in the top of that! It about has to sway – and what if there’s an emergency? I mean – how long would it take to get a medic up there. And who really wants to be in an elevator that long?
Everyone going up will be given portable parachutes. In case of emergency, elevators won’t work and the parachutes will.
KIDDING.
and on the serious side, the elevator installed is one of the world’s high-speed elevators, for obvious reasons.

Whoah! That looks really tall! Just a question though – is it taller than the Petronas tower in Malaysia?
