(very big sigh of relief)
After looking through the php file that does the comment notification process, I found that the email address used to notify me for comment is not the email address listed in my WP profile (the yahoo address) but rather ‘wordpress@sandierpastures.com’. I am sure this feature came from updating to the latest WP version.
So what I did in attempt to solve the mystery was:
- Create a new email address wordpress@sandierpastures.com
- Set my WP profile to the same address I just created
- Set it in CPanel (Bluehost) to forward messages to my yahoo address
Problem solved.
So there, just tellin’, in case any of you encountered the same dilemma when upgrading using the WordPress Automatic Upgrade Plugin. At least I can sleep more peacefully tonight.
