blame it on the pump

The water problem in my building is still unsolved. We’d have no running water on early mornings when everyone in the building is using water at the same time and on Fridays, everyone’s day off.

I called Dubai Water Authority and they came to check. I was at the office when I got a call from them saying that the problem is not with them but with our building. And then what – and then the words,  ”Don’t call our office again”.

Hellowww?

I called “EMERGENCY CUSTOMER SERVICE”. For any sane person, no water especially in the morning is EMERGENCY! My daughter refuses to poo in the loo if she knows there’s no water to flush it! Arrgh.  I have to sue this people and demand compensation for her constipation medicine! Pardon the dirty talk and sorry if you are eating while reading this.

The repair people told me this should be taken cared of by the building management. Hurrah. The typical building management that refuses to take calls and the same building management who placed a watch man in our place who doesn’t speak any English. Yeah, that.

Water flow is usually back to normal by around 8-9 am so these people think it’s not a problem at all. Some temporary glitch that we residents should bear.

As of this writing I am still trying to get hold of anyone in the building management, using different phones to call them because they already know my cellphone number and deliberately ignore my calls.

Wow. From all of the travel ads and articles, they always portray Dubai as a great place to live. Talk about crappy customer service!

You have so much right, especially regarding watchmen.”Hello, how are you?” and that’s it. I think this is the only sentence what they have to know to be hired. SAD!!!!!!

Wow, that is really bad. Can you get your neighbors together to complain as well? Perhaps if they hear if from many people something will get done!
