world car free day? Never heard of it and don’t really think that there are many cities out there that really participate… there are too many people who depend on their car because either the weather doesn’t allow them to walk or the sheer distance is too much for one human to handle.

Most governments are trying to invoke green programs and such, why not pull out all the stops and make sure that public transport is running perfectly with alternatives at the ready for “no car day”. If the government really upheld this policy, advertised way in advance and perhaps even threaten with fines…..I think you would see a dramatic decrease in traffic…..well maybe only in major cities.

The funny thing at this day in ’09 I couldnt use my car. I don’t think we can expect to go without our cars without a decent solution to replace it. Or maybe we will have environmental cars within 20 years.

public transport is good only in some special situation, but for me the best kind of transportation is a car.

I really don’t know what I do in same cases. I think a car is very useful and personally i don’t prefer the public transport..

If in Emirates or in that region the traffic is full , I don’t know what to say about the one in New York , or Los Angeles for example . I don’t know if in our days is usefull a car , the public transport is more efficient . Thank you !
