You should get your little girl a sugar glider! They are small, will burrow in her pocket, & they bond deeply with people. The only real drawback to them is they do not do well when left alone.

We had a Cocker Spaniel named Lady and she was Marissa's dog. If I lived in an apartment, I'd take in a cat. Not a fluffy one like a Persian, but a tabby or a calico. Living as an Expat though and having to move, would be hard to give that pet up. I'd be heartbroken to have to give mine up. So then I probably wouldn't take one in, if I had to say Good bye to it. That's a dilemma, but I agree - unfair to have pets in a tiny space - especially dogs. But I know it must be hard for your daughter! I hope someday you have some land to roam! Jennifer in OR's last blog post..Field of Dreams
