Ugh, we’re getting your hamsin tomorrow, complete with the dust. The sandstorms shouldn’t make it past the Negev Desert though. Miserable, isn’t it? Like being caught inside a very hot, dusty clothes dryer.

This is when having to wear a veil here in the MidEast becomes an advantage. =) I use it to cover my face whenever we get caught outside in a sandstorm. It's sheer enough to see through and fine enough to filter most of the dust particles. CandyQs last blog post..What's in a name?

We have a beautiful spring day yesterday.

Today it was cloudier and cooler – but we still spent 3 hours on the beach.

We had a windbreak, and brought our sledges – the kids (and us) slight down this huge sand hill – lots of fun, but like with you – sand gets everywhere!

Here in Florida it’s a cloudy day with a storm rolling in- it’s so dark right now that it looks like late dusk at 3 PM. I hope the rain either holds off or finishes before I get out of class in an hour and a half.
