WW – The monster is growing

200826Nov

by Grace

I like to call the world’s tallest building in the making, “monster” because it’s huge, tall and intimidating. Intimidating to other world record holder wannabes, that is.

The  Burj Dubai, standing tall some couple of weeks ago. I won’t mention the stats of the monster here – there’s no point as it is growing so many meters in a single day!

I can’t see why anyone would want to be in such a high building. I mean, the thought of going up anywhere near to the top makes my skin crawl. It’s the thought of having to get down in a hurry. What if there’s a power cut? And how tall does the next building be in order to beat the record?….

I like bungalows, really. All on one level, with plenty of space sprawled out before me.

What do you think of it?

Personally I think it’s madness that anybody would want to build such a tall building. I am terrified of heights, so there is NOTHING on this planet that would get me into that building.

you must have the best view if you were in the top floors.

Here’s my WW. Thanks!

Cool picture. I am originally from the Houston, Texas area where there are a ton of huge buildings like this. Although, this one might be bigger than the ones I am used to seeing.

Happy WW!

I sure would hate to be at the top only to realize I left my lunch in the car!

Wow. I have been fascinated with this building ever since I first heard of it. When finished it will be an estimated 2,684 feet in height. Approximately half a mile….

Hi Sandy,

I heared they will be giving out parachutes for people who reached the top floor and realized that they forgot something. :-)

Kidding.

Who in the world would want to reside on the top level? It would give me nightmares!
