I thought I’d share the elevator ride I took inside Burj Al Arab Hotel (the 2nd tallest hotel building in the world at 321 meters).
The panoramic, glass panel elevator will let you see the emerald green sea below. The elevator travels at 7 meters per second, not the fastest in the world but definitely speedy than the ones I’ve been into before.

Ahhh at first I thought this was going to be the trip up the tower elevator. Next time (funny, I know–I’m sure there will be no next time for you!) you go up the tower, you have to film the ascent! =)

I tried to do this the last time I was in Dubai but it was closed. I arrive tomorrow for my second trip to Dubai. I hope it’s open this time.
I have such a fear of heights that I would never get into the elevator!

oh wow. I first saw this bldg during the Amazing Race. I’m keeping this in mind should our trip to UAE pushes through sometime this yr or early next year to visit my brother’s family.
