The Howlers – no, they are not the new rising boy band. Yes, they are the new kids on the block but I don’t think they’ll ever make it to the charts.
We’ve got some company in our morning bus these days. A bunch of Dubai dwellers of the local kind (UAE folks) who are not kids and not yet adults. They sit at the back-most seat in the bus and howl all trip long. I mean, howl like foxes in heat. They have books with them so they are probably educated although they look and act far from it.
Poor new bus, the new seat fabric smeared with slipper dirt. Poor driver, giving in to pressure to step the brakes at an unauthorized bus stop because if Howler’s daddy is from the RTA (Roads and Transport Authority), he’d be damned if he don’t.

The Howlers… mmm… that could be an interesting, catching name for a boy band! LOL!
