Grace, you had me coughing and gasping while reading your entry! I cannot tolerate heat and humidity...I do not sweat, so instead, I turn bright red and then feel terrible!!! Your poor family...that is really bad. I think in looking at the photos of Japan, I would throw in the towel and return there! But, in saying that, I admit...I am a WIMP!!!! That is too bad that the air quality becomes poor seasonally there. It sounds hard to take. I remember growing up in the desert heat of Arizona. In general, as a child, I enjoyed the heat, but not when there would be an inversion layer in the atmosphere. Then it was hot and hazy; pollution was trapped down where we had to breathe it.
