The 6th Turbulence Training 12-week Transformation Contest has ended. What a journey it was for me and the others, especially the finalists! The amazing people who were picked as finalists for the 6th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest have been announced and you just have to see these amazing fat loss success stories. If you have time, do read their success stories (hopefully be impressed and get motivated) and vote for the best! Voting ends on Friday. (nope I’m not there in the list…still chickened out in submitting my photos…)
As for me, I’ve measured different parts of body girth using the tape measure and here are my stats, after twelve weeks of using Turbulence Training:
Neck: -0.5″, Shoulder: -2″, Chest: -1″, Biceps: -0.5″, Waist: -2″, Hips: -1″, Thigh (gluteal): -0.5 and calf: -0.5. TOTAL: -8.0 inches lost
According to the weighing scale, I only lost 5 lbs in twelve weeks. Booo, FIVE pounds?! There must be something wrong with my scale or I’m carrying some weight I cannot see. I even cut my hair so that should count a little weight loss, right? LOL. As much as I love the progress I’ve made, I still wanted to see a smaller number on the scale. Ok, ok, enough with the scale obsession. I know I’ve made progress regardless how small! And five pounds lost is always better than five pounds GAINED. Most importantly, I can now get into a US8 jeans. I started with a US14 last April and though an 8 is not so impressive (it’s still big as most of you would agree), it is the first time my jean size has reduced in years so I’m happy!
But if any of you who’ve met me in person, I’m sure you would say I still need to lose a few more and it’s TRUE. I even still have super thunder thighs (that’s not a new superhero name). I can’t expect to be in my ideal weight in a short time. All those years of sedentary lifestyle and bad nutrition! It will take more time and hard work to achieve what I want to achieve and no, I do not wish to be in a fitness magazine (although that would be great, thank you very much). I just want to lose more fat – mostly belly fat. That said, I’ll still be hanging out at the nearby gym with the transformation contest in my mind during my lunch break. And I’ve always loved my 10 minute sauna baths afterwards!
Why not join me? Don’t miss out on your chance to use Turbulence Training to win up to $1000 cash in the 7th Turbulence Training Transformation! Contest that starts on Sunday, right after Christmas, on December 27th. You can read the rules here. Who knows, it might even be you who wins the $1000 grand prize in the 7th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest!
It’s a great chance to throw that “getting fit or losing weight as New Year’s resolution”. You can start by giving Turbulence Training a 21-day try-out for less than 5 bucks, NOW.
Just imagine being 5, 10, 20 or 30 pounds lighter in March. It’s your (our) call! We can do this!

That would be so fun to try–Congratulations on your success! Even though 5 pounds doesn’t seem like a lot, it’s a huge success and you should celebrate. Plus the other things is did you do any weight training? Cause maybe you gained muscle.

Hey, 5 pounds is awesome and I would totally say that you didn’t lose more because it’s going into muscle mass. You do know that muscle weighs more than fat, right?
Given the inches you’ve lost I would say you’re doing really well! And a size 8 is not big!!! Not at all!
WOW! Congrats on a job well done!
