8 Random Things About Me

Just when you thought I’d stop doing memes, here’s another one again. I got tagged by Natalie @ Red Sox Mommy to write 8 random things about myself.

The rules: When tagged, you must link to the person who tagged you. Then post the rules before your list, and list eight random things about yourself. At the end of the post, you must tag and link to eight other people. It’s fun. Give it a shot. It’s also a great way to get to know other bloggers.

So, as if I haven’t spilled too much of myself through meme’s, here are 8 random things about me.

I am trying so hard to write something I haven’t written before…maybe my friends should supply the answers, wouldn’t that be interesting.

1.  I am a morning person. I am very ineffective to work or to blog, do something serious like filling out important paperwork at night. I can’t go beyond 11 pm unless maybe if I am in the middle of the Rio Carnival.

2. My mother’s mother, my grandma has an identical twin. They do not only look the same, they sound the same. No one can tell which is which other than their respective husbands. I hope it runs in the blood because I always wanted to have twins.

3. I can survive without TV. For someone who religiously followed several tv series, everyone thought I will not make it a week but it has been more than a year since we ditched television and I am still here, alive and not missing TV at all!

4. My dreams are in in full color, with lots of special effects.  Some have monochrome dreams but I haven’t seen (at least as far as I can remember) a black and white dream before.

5. I never thought it was possible but I have gone through a 40-hour labor without any pain medication. I then breastfed my daughter for 22 months, straight.

6. I associate life milestones with music and scents. I know the music when I first fell in love, which music for which person, the music when I first came to Japan and Dubai and the scent associated that day mostly the soap and shampoo and sometimes cologne/perfume I used. I avoid smelling any perfume used by exes.

7. My first ambition was to become a stewardess. I see someone smiling wide.

8. I appeared a couple of times in local television for a quiz show.
