If you enjoyed the Middle East map game I posted earlier, you will also love these interactive map game that resembled the tetris game. Instead of positioning the tetris blocks, you position (or rotate) the states/prefectures into the map.
Play Stateris USA and if you are living in Japan and would like to know how well you know the other prefectures, go take the challenge in Stateris Japan.
I played the easy level and finished the Japan version of the game in 5 minutes. The medium and hard level has the prefectures rotated so obviously it should be harder. I’ll do that when I have my lunch break after Ramadan.
Have fun! But don’t forget to tell me how you did! Goodluck.

Very cool, you were visiting me while I was over here trying to play the map game. I’m on my laptop which doesn’t seem to have the right mouse function to play the game, since I couldn’t even drop Florida in place! I’ll have to save that site for later – a great way for my kids to work on their geography! Thanks!!
Yeah, I figured that out! On different time zones, halfway round the globe we were checking out on each other’s blogs! How cool.
Glad to know you liked the game. I hope the kids will love it too.
Wow, I am sure I will fail both of those!
Does this work with Mac’s for some reason I cannot get it to work? I see the states but cannot drag them ;(
