My husband asked me, why do ladies need so many bags (and/or shoes for that matter) while men only need one briefcase (usually in one color) throughout the year?

Oh common’, do we really have to answer that age old question? Do we need to, ladies? It’s like, having lots of bags and shoes is imprinted in our DNA or something!

Just for the record, I do NOT have LOTS but I do like to have a separate bag for work and going out on weekends, or for traveling, for the gym, for the beach, for going out on a dinner date or going to Disneyland. Wait, is it too many already? LOL!

Well, I had the opportunity to have another bag when Eenamaria generously sent me their Workin’ Weekend Baby Bag all the way here. *Thanks!!* I was so excited to open the parcel. It is a big bag and most welcome at my home because I can use it to work – it has enough space to put an A4 file folder and even a laptop. It has side pockets for my extra things, too.Then on that weekend, I took it out to the mall with me. It’s always feels nice to walk around knowing no one has the same bag with yours!

I like the colors, so bright and lively, so appropriate for sunshine-y Dubai!

What I like most about this bag is the durability. It is made of waterproof material which means we even use it when going to the beach and it survived the sun, sand and our clothes inside did not get wet even when Pristine splashed water on it!

For me, the perfect handbag is SO attractive, that it is the first thing you notice when you see me. It is SO organized that I can look like a together-woman, instead of a shmuck digging through her bag. It is SO huge on the inside that I can fit everything that I need, but perfectly sized on the outside to make me look like a skinny model and not a diaper bag/mommy/homeless woman carrying everything she owns. It is SO well made that even though it may not be new, it looks new. It is SO trendy and fun that I laugh when I see it. It is SO chic, that I feel like the cat that just drank a bowl of cream.

Can you tell I like bags? I’ve gone into bag nirvana and forgotten the question…..

Then I had kids. Now, amongst the moms I know, I still carry the smallest bag: One dipe for each kid, wipes, a snack, and my essentials. So I can get away with a roomy handbag, or small shoulderbag.

All the other moms carry luggage.
