I love to receive real letters and cards once in a while. I say, “once in a while” because we all know how it is these days – the communication world is all about e-mails, e-cards and all that electronic stuff. I miss the days when I open my real physical mail box and find an envelope with a handwritten letter or card.

My bloggy friend, Krista who loves to take photos of nature has decided to open up an Etsy shop called Creative Chaos Images to feature her photographs in the form of notecards. She sent me 4 of her cards that I can use as a birthday card or for random notes. The photos on the cards are amazing, almost like real. It’s printed in a firm, glossy paper and each notecard comes with an envelope.

The inside of the cards are blank so I can write anything on it. I’ve used two of the cards to send a long overdue letter to one of my bestfriends and the other two, I’ve kept it in my office desk at work. It’s always nice to see something nature themed inside a closed (borish) office space.

Krista has just started her Etsy shop so there are few items for now. There will be plenty more photos/notecards to choose from in the near future.

I’d love to offer notecards like that on my etsy shop too, but I haven’t yet found an on-demand printer in the US who can do it. If Krista doesn’t mind sharing, I’d love to know who she’s using.
