From this week, I’ll be starting a new series on this blog and I’m gonna call it “Instagram’it”. I’m a self confessed Instagram addict. I love photography and taking pictures of just about anything but lately has found trouble time-wise uploading the pics, applying effects, sharing to Facebook/Twitter etc.
And Instagram? This nifty app does all for me. Just impressive little darling.
What is Instagram?
Instagram is an awesome free photo app that lets you apply retro filters to photos taken with your iPhone or iPad 2.
Why is Intagram so successful/popular?
By contrast, Instagram’s greatest success is its pared down super-simplicity.
You see something, you whip out your iPhone/iPad 2. You take a shot and then you send it directly to the world. That’s it.
Instagram’s probably one of the very few reasons I am wishing for an iPhone right now (and people who know me knows I don’t like the iPhone because of it’s touch screen keys. I am a qwerty girl all the way). The iPhone would make me look less ridiculous when snapping photos for Instagram, unlike taking out the iPad 2 tablet that I have.
I’ll stop talking now. Here’s my first Instagram’it entry.

I think that now there’s an app for almost anything, so all you need is a really smart phone
