that 5th Harry Potter movie

Lemme see…Dudley has grown tall but still horizontally challenged, Uncle Vernon seems to have eaten more pies and Aunt Petunia is dressed like a bar girl, what’s up with that? The Dursleys are still living in Privet Drive but what happened to their old house? It looked like their living room shrunk to more than a half of the original size.

Harry has some chest now. Yeah, Harry, not Hermione unfortunately and Ron is still a redhead. The Dark Lord is back with more power than ever before and Dumbledore ties his beard with style and maintained his composure even after a heavy battle and with all glass flying everywhere, still flawless.

The 5th installment of Harry Potter movie certainly delivered. It was worth the limited dirhams we tipped over at the movie counter. Great movie, if only I could explain further to my daughter that is was just a movie. Pristine looked away and cried on my shoulder at the near end. I was on the verge of tears myself.

Putting spoilers aside, I am so happy we finally went to the movies together, as a family. Never mind that I forgot my eyeglasses at the office! (reason why I feel Uncle Vernon is fatter and Harry’s expanding chest?)

P.S.

Oh, I forgot to mention the kiss! The kiss that took 30 takes to perfection according to the director. In this movie Harry and Cho are both 14 right? Don’t you think the kiss is longer than necessary? or maybe I am just too conventional!?

Also, Cho Chang, is it even proper to kiss your new squeeze in front of your (dead) ex-boyfriend’s picture? Ok, I’m going to shut up now.
