There are but only a few ways where hotter is better: pizza, coffee, soups, fireplace on a cold winter night…hmmm what else, soccer players? How about temperature? It’s the peak of summer in Dubai right now and the restaurants at Crowne Plaza Hotel invented a way for residents and visitors to love the hot weather..indoors however.
Presenting, a very weird but good campaign:
Tha campaign’s catch phrase: “The higher the temperature, the bigger the dining discount.”
Yesterday’s highest temperature in Dubai was 44C so it was 44% off the food bill in most restaurants at the Crowne Plaza. Awesome, yeah! The staff at the restaurant where we had our dinner said that it was the biggest discount so far.
This morning when we woke up and went down to have breakfast, the biggest discount so far was toppled. Today’s highest temperature is 45C so the discount would be 45%! Now there hasn’t been and there never would be a time to wish for the temps to go higher everyday! Only at Crowne Plaza!

Well – for this weekend any – I hope the temps there SOAR!

Oy for the hotness, but what a fun promotion! It’s finally gotten hot here and I’m glad for our air conditioner, but we did have a good time at the waterslides today!
Very nice and funny way to promote their products. Its a good idea to make the people of Dubai appreciate the hot weather a bit more.

What a wonderful thing for them to do. There is no way they would do that here in the states with us using the Fahrenheit system, we had temps that were up in the 90s here in Florida. TeeHee
