days even a red bull can’t cure

I sleep at least 6 hours everyday, work is not that hectic and at home, I have my mother helping me with my daughter and with (most) household chores yet everyday inside the car on my way home I feel so drained, sometimes tired to even talk!

I am caught up with things that I feel so inadequate and helpless. I want to organize the closet more, plan meals more carefully, paint with Pristine, sing songs with her, arrange the kitchen, sort out clothes that are not used and other million other things in my mind. Too many things I’d love to do, so little time.

By the time I come home from walking/jogging in the park at around 7:45, my husband and I eat and play with the tot. In just a few blinks, it’s time for bed at 8:30 pm. I take a shower then we read stories to cap the night. Another day ends again. The routine goes like this over and over for 6 days a week. On Fridays, my day-off, we usually go to the park to bike then go to the groceries or to the beach – - family day, activity day. There is no rest for me except the short afternoon nap on Friday which I aim to do, no matter what.

*sigh*

My apologies for the random blah. Sometimes don’t you just think an extra hour or two everyday would be nice?

When the ship sails west like it is doing now, we get tons of extra hours to make up for the time changes! People work so hard around here, its so nice to have that extra hour!

I have days when I feel like that. Maybe you need to change up your routine just a bit, see if a small change makes a difference.

:?: You hit the nail on the head exactly. Our days and schedules are not awful or depressing. It’s just that time is so precious. It would be so nice to have a little bit more of it at the end of each day. I SOOO agree!

I think you have your priorities straight. It seems like you have a lot of family quality time. That’s more important than a clean house. At least that’s my excuse – and I’m sticking to it!

It would be great to have a an extra day to just chill. Sometimes you just have to take a ‘mental health’ day every couple of months and do nothing but sleep and eat. Though I don’t know how you’d do that with a littlun to look after

So Pristine is the name of your daughter? I was wondering what P stands for, thinking it was Patricia or something similar. I wonder how you came about that. But have you tried Red Bull?
