summer and makeup don’t mix

My lipstick can last up to 10 years. I am keeping at least 3 colors but rarely use them especially if I have to send off my daughter to school in the morning. Before I hand her over to the bus attendant, she is showered with mommy kisses so I purposely don’t wear my lipstick until I am inside the bus or inside the office. I don’t want her to have lipstick smear all over her face as well as I can’t stand not kissing my baby as I will be missing her, after-all, we will not see each other in another twelve long hours.

Lately, I don’t wear any makeup at all. What’s the point anyway? I am already beautiful without it, haha. Sweltering heat and humidity can wreak havoc with summer makeup. Foundation may seem to melt or liquefy, and no powder stands up to those little beads of sweat that collect around my hairline!

How do you survive summer? Is going au naturel the only way to it?

There is no way I’m dropping off my daughter at preschool without some make-up on. Although, I do find that I’m wearing less and less as I get older.

drew barrymore posted in a magazine with no make-up! hehehe, while we don’t look like drew- wearing little or no make-up is ok. Tan-awa you look younger because of little or no make-up. Nothing could hasten aging of our faces but the constant use of heavy make-up.

when you’re as pretty as you are (at least from what I’ve seen in your pictures!) you don’t need to worry about makeup. Besides, just think how much time you’re saving in the morning! :-)
