weekend tidbits

Sorry for the late post. It must be already night in some time zones. I must have kept some readers waiting and waiting until they dozed off to sleep.

Ha! who am I kidding? Readers?? my blog stats are at its all-time LOW this past few days and it is preventing me to write something…lack of inspiration, the thought that no one would read anyway…well, nuff of the dramatics.

I was away — not away physically, hell, I am still in HELL but away from the computer that is. I was off last Thursday to attend dear daughter’s program sorta play in school and be the loudest mommy clapper in the crowd. I even hurt my band-aid binded finger again with my outrageous clapping. My baby played her first role in broadway — she was the strawberry in their fruit salad play — please, don’t let me explain the plot…

Well, Friday was spent driving around town. M and I woke up at 6 a.m. and decided we had to test the waters er, the roads that is. After six months of not driving, I am finally behind the wheels again. Pristine woke up and insisted she come with us but since I don’t want to jeopardize her life without the car child seat, we went out while she pouted at the door holding my mother’s skirt. The drive around the neighborhood was a breeze. We made it back  home safe and in one piece and the car was unscratched but I know it will not count — it is a Friday and at six  in the morning, there were hardly any cars in the road. It was sort of like cheating…lol.

Hi G–sometimes it does seem like no one will respond (smile). But your readers are here and reading!

I am still here…still reading ur post but i just can’t relate to ur Wannabe (lol…not a Spice Girls fan).

Anyway, so nice of Pristine and yes that’s every mother’s reaction…when my eldest performed on stage, i was also the loud clapper, i even shouted, “Anak ko ‘yan!” and when he delivered his salutatory address during his KG1 graduation, i can’t express my feeling, very fulfilling! In fact, i stood beside the stage…hahaha, stage mother ba?

Drive safe! I only drive about once a year when I visit “home”. I enjoy it though. BTW, what side of the road do they drive on there?

I’m here too, although I usually read on Bloglines; I believe this is the first time I’ve commented, so…ciao :)

I’m here too….I’ve been reading most of my blogs through google reader, so I don’t know if that affects your counter or not.
Sorry for making you miss your house…. :-0 Just had one of those mornings…. everything’s better now… at least for a few more days.
