I just finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last night and I am still reeling with the effects. The emotion of the story was incredible; with so many surprising twists and turns during the last 6 installments, the talented J.K. Rowling finally fit the pieces of the puzzle together.
It was such a drastic emotional switch and the tone, compared to the other 6 books, was different in all those 750 intense pages. A small hint, there was closure in Harry’s story but not in the secondary characters. J.K. Rowling left the fan community with an opportunity, a gift! We have so much to imagine, so much to discuss and we never have to say goodbye to this magical world.
A great ending to a great series. Truly remarkable!

Congrats!
Because of the effects of discovering that the ebook I read was 100% fake, I read wikipedia’s spoiler!
I sure hope I could find a paperback copy here. The hard-bound’s way too expensive for me
as soon as classes end (I’m getting busy with many things- can’t even finish reading subscription magazines and a new book i bought – 100 years of solitude), I’m going to grab a copy of the HP series and see for myself if the hype on HP is well-founded… congrats grace! can’t believe how you can juggle reading, working, taking care of your family really well!
Hi G–now, I’m probably never going to read it, so you can tell me how it ends (wink).
me too me too. Tell me how it ends…
from TNP and Sabine- I’ll take the road less travelled by most- not reading the series and just asking how it ends! heehehe
I mean sabine might have read the series but is not finished with the last book yet…
My son is waiting to purchase the book to read. He has read all the books, but this one. Some he has read twice or more.
