Let’s take a break from the holiday and beach posts because it makes me want to go back to the Maldives.
Because, oh look…there’s a sandstorm brewing outside. Now that we’re back to Dubai, we do things “only in Dubai”.
Hello, amazing brunches.
We don’t often go out for Friday brunches but if we feel like indulging, hands down, it’s the Generation Creation Saturday brunch at Mazina, The Address Dubai Marina for us. We the adults love it and the kids? They absolutely LOVE the place.
The Saturday brunch has vibrant live cooking stations,
These chicken and beef satay skewers and Thai fish cakes are a hit with the kids (and adults too). Don’t ask me how many sticks I’ve devoured!
I love this ‘healthier’ and lighter option: Asian soups with different types of noodles and meat bases.
The have a dedicated pork section too with hams and don’t miss the pork belly roast (not pictured).
Meat lovers rejoice.
Nice ambiance, great food…so many places in Dubai are like that…but what makes this Saturday brunch different?
For one, this must be the most child friendly brunch in all of Dubai. There’s a separate section for families with children with ample space, a small corner with kids menu and juices,
a bouncy castle (with a supervising staff),
Benjamin is crazy about this bouncy castle! Actually, all the kids there are!
Other activities include coloring and face painting.
The kids are never bored – if at all, they didn’t want to go home!
Here’s a thing about going out to eat for us: we have an almost three year old toddler.
We can’t really dine together “peacefully” anywhere else but HERE. In other restaurants, we usually we take turns eating and chasing him around so Mazina is doing something right with their kid-dedicated corner. Seriously thankful! We take guests and friends here when we want to show them brunch along with the kids.
GENERATION CREATION SATURDAY BRUNCH
The Generation Creation Saturday Brunch is happening every 3rd Saturday of the month at Mazina Restaurant, The Address Dubai Marina from 12:30-3:30 pm. There is a different theme every month to promote fun and family time. Plus there are prizes to be won.
Great dining experience for the whole family where you don’t just savor the dishes but create them!
It was pizza making this month.
Children and parents teamed up to create their one of a kind pizza. Pristine was really into it!
Everyone’s pizza creation!
We didn’t win any of the prizes at stake but she sure enjoyed the experience and declared her pizza as yummy! She’s quite proud of it!
The Saturday brunch is priced at AED 250 including soft beverages; Children six years and under enjoy complimentary meals and half the price for seven to 12 years.
WAIT. How can I end this post without talking about desserts? My bad. There were plenty. The dessert section at Mazina is extensive, I tell you.
And there’s a new one – at least this is new for me. The last time we were here, this wasn’t there yet.
Now you know you need to save some space. There are too many to choose from, from the desserts section I’ve not posted pics of: (ice cream, umm ali, sticky caramel toffee pudding, chocolate barks…cakes, cheesecakes, etc but these babies got the special place in my heart.
I mean, my tummy.
Churros – oh so good! Flourless chocolate cake and chocolate creme brulee!
You can check out what’s happening at Mazina restaurant from the Address Dubai Marina hotel’s website.
