I came across this documentary by AT&T and I believe the message is not only powerful, but also necessary. I’ve seen a lot of drivers texting and driving here in Dubai, even in high speed highways like Sheikh Zayed Road – as if the quality of driving is not dangerous enough.
Some don’t think it’s a problem, especially if they have been doing it for a long time and still live to boast about this dangerous stunt but statistics show that a texting driver is 23 times more likely to get into a crash than a non-texting driver. Why would you risk it?
Please forward/share this video to people you know. It might change their mind if they are still texting on the road while driving. Texting or any form of distraction using the cellphone while driving: IT CAN WAIT.
